Hi 

Not a bird, but we just "rescued" a Striped Marsh Frog, which was hopping along Cape Street in Dickson. Didn't want it to be squashed by cars, so we took it to the green corridor behind Cape Street. 

First time I actually properly saw a frog in Canberra (not just fleetingly in the headlights).
