Here is the relevant text from The GBS Report. I suspect the trend of increase has continued since then.

Breeding records have increased (none in Years 1, 3, 4, 7, ten in Years 17, 19, 20 & 21). The species probably breeds in forest, there are no GBS nest records. All breeding records are of dependent young and the time span is narrow. First few observations are in mid October with the great majority in January and February, with the last isolated one in mid April.
Graphs on page: 94, Rank: 24, Breeding Rank: 16, Breeding graph on page: 106,

Notable that even in the first 21 years, the species was already known as having many breeding records, even though none of these are of the birds at their nest site. As shown by that its rank on observational records was 24th and on breeding records was 16th. Possibly because young parrots move around a lot and are easy to find, so they are often included on GBS charts.

Despite the lack of breeding records for King Parrots in Canberra, I'm sure there are plenty of records of KPs with dy. However there was one yesterday morning in our yard in Hughes.
