My thanks to Jack (Chapman) and Jean (Upper Duffy) for kindly sending one of your GBBs down to brighten up our day in (Lower) Duffy. One flew past heading further north and calling just now as I was at the clothesline, but I wasn't quick enough to see it. My first record here (but it's only been 12 months).

On our bike ride this morning there was a Grey Butcherbird in a small tree next to Mt McDonald Rd, towards the bottom where you can look across and see the new dam being constructed. Also a female or immature male Satin Bowerbird a few metres away, and a Restless Flycatcher a couple of kilometres up the hill from the Cotter towards Weston.
