I was working on a watertank in my backyard (Toms Crescent, Ainslie) just after noon when a raptor (brown blur out of the corner of my eye) swooped past below me in my neighbours yard.
I walked round into Hargraves Crescent, and just above my head saw hawk about to eat lunch.  It flew off with prey when it noticed me.
A Collared Sparrowhawk? (corrections please) - no time to fully see finger length.
