Ray,
Your note has prompted my recall that I saw a Pheasant Coucal
crossing the Kings Highway about 500 metres from the summit of Clyde
Mountain while heading for the coast.
A striking observation was that the bird ran rather than trying to
fly. This observation was about 10 years ago before I joined COG.
