Pheasant Coucal or not that is the question

Hi again - Thank you to those who responded to my email seeking advice on any sightings of the Pheasant Coucal in Canberra. I received good responses with the main theme being that the bird may in fact be a female or juvenile Koel. This has been passed on to my friend who has come back saying yes the size and back plumage would support this but the confusing issue is that the breast was dun coloured similar to the Coucal certainly not the orange colour as shown in the Bird Books. We are hoping for a return visit to do some more checking.
