Yesterday at Mulligans Flat I watched a White-faced Heron catch and eat a large yabby (photo attached). I thought the yabby was going to be too bird for the bird (looked more my size) but it did manage to swallow it. I unfortunately ran out of recording space just before the last swallow but video of the bird catching and dealing with the yabby can be watched at http://ibc.lynxeds.com/video/white-necked-heron-ardea-pacifica/catching-eating-large-yabby-fresh-water-crayfish.
 
Amongst the usual birds I also managed to see a beautiful adult male Red-capped Robin on Dam Road about 200m from the intersection with Old Coach Road.
