I have just seen a flock of ~100 Woodswallows pass high over my GBS site in Carwoola.  Even with binoculars all that could be seen was a 'woodswallow silhouette' .  However they were heading for Wamboin so perhaps someone there will get a better look.  The very obvious flight calls that I could hear were White-browed Woodswallows but I am not prepared to say there were not some Masked or Dusky Woodswallows mixed in.

A local observer reported that the Superb Parrots seen on his property every year recently have returned to the Hoskinstown Plain sychronously (? is that a word) with the ripening of Acacia dealbata seeds.
