I just had a Grey Butcherbird visit three of my active Striated Pardalote nestboxes. It had a good look in and poked it's bill into each before moving onto the next ~1.30pm.  It was a dull browny grey and dirty white all over i e no black at all - juvenile? Last years young?  They've been calling around here for 2 -3 weeks and I wouldn't think it is likely this season's young.  Comments?
