Up to the early eighties there were three species of funnel-webs recorded in the ACT, all from the Brindabellas down as low as the walking tracks through the wet eucalypt forests in Tidbinbilla NR. None were from the woodland, grassland or dry eucalypt forest of Black Mt, Ainslie/ Majura or suburban areas.

The Sydney Funnel-Web is not known to occur in the ACT and there have been no records of invenomation by a funnel-web in the ACT as far as I know.

I found a funnel-web crawling around the floor in the toilet at the Honeysuckle Ck Tracking Station site a few years ago. I don't remember which species it was.
