Hello John,

For what it is worth, a group of 6 males and 2 females is 75% males and thus it is not a shift of gender balance from what Duncan wrote, indeed within statistical probability it is equal.

Interesting shift in the gender balance. I was watching a much smaller group on Tuesday morning in the same area, consisting of 6 males and 2 females.

There is a loose flock of up to about 35 - 40 Superb Parrots in Benjamin Way, near ABS House and the Immigration buildings. They are feeding on the elm trees (I think they are elms - I don't know trees very well, especially exotics). They have been around for a few days. At a guess, I would say it is about 70-80% males.

Duncan.
