The ANPS walk yesterday went t the Gale Precinct, on the Southern outskirts of Queanbeyan  A beautiful day to be out and about.  At least two Speckled Warblers were singing their hearts out and Peter Ormay noticed some Painted Button-quail platelets.  Many Red Wattlebirds better aggressive (ie behaving like Red Wattlebirds) and several pairs of Common Bronzewings.

Returning home to Carwoola a near neighbour reported the first calls of a Pallid Cuckoo.
