While jogging on the Hancock Track (from the suburb over the saddle towards Campbell park) I noticed that at least three old trees had been felled. One of them had a sign about surveillance and prohibiting taking the wood, so it would seem that these have been officially felled. Does anyone know why? I can rationalise felling old trees in suburban streets that might injure people but in a Nature Park? Martin |
