If anyone is studying what the male eats it is interesting to note that the
one at 94 Vasey Cres flys all the way to 92 Vasey Cres and thieves the
guinea pig pellets from out of their hutch. Milky and Coconut are
understandably unimpressed but equally unsure as to how to respond.

Subject: Satin Bowerbird in Weston backyard!
The last two weekends while out cycling we've had a look at the Satin
Bowerbird's bower in the back yard of 94 Vasey Crescent in Campbell -
it's right next to the walkway that goes up to Gellibrand St, just
inside the wire fence and easily observed. The first time the male was
in his bower whirring away and rearranging his blue treasures, and the
female was perched on the wire fence above observing. The second time
the male was about but didn't actually enter the bower.
