Hello subscribers, does anyone know where any the following birds might be reliably recorded at the moment, for possible inclusion as one of our spots in the COG bus trip next Sunday?

Late staying “summer migrants” – Dusky Woodswallows, Noisy Friarbird, Rufous Whistler, Olive-backed Oriole & Superb Parrot.

Winter visitors – Fuscous Honeyeater, Brown-headed Honeyeater, Crescent Honeyeater, Yellow-tufted Honeyeater, Swift Parrot & Flame Robin (still none in my local Cooleman Ridge/Narrabundah Hill patch, or at Stromlo Forest Park yesterday).

Many thanks

Jack Holland

PS  For those that may still be thinking about participating both buses are now fully subscribed and I’m about to start a wait list.  Experience shows one or two members always need to decline at short notice, so if you’re still interested and your name will go onto the wait list in the order received.
