Off to the side of the Yellow-faced Honeyeater migration, while walking the small dog this morning we noticed a flock of 14 Noisy Friarbirds heading North in a fairly determined manner. 3 Dusky Woodswallows were ensconced on phone wires while 2 Scarlet Robins were calling back and forth from patches of woodland. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, a nest of Red-browed Finches was making the traditional amount of noise when an adult arrives with food. Martin |
