I don't know Susanne, when the cannons went off and all the flying foxes flew into the air it was quite a sight. Poor things wouldn't have known what in the world was going on!

Hi all

just had little flocks (app. 6x 3-5) of Little Corellas fly over the Turner part of Haig Park, coming from O'Connor shops flying south. Then a big flock of 40-50 came past, but cornered and flew towards ANU. Quite a sight.

There was commotion amongst the parks magpies and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and I saw one Galah fly with the first flocks of Corellas.

This was at about 5.10pm.

Then thought I take the kids to Commonwealth Park and see if we can find the Flying Foxes (since the kids missed the one in our plum tree last week), but soon noticed that tonight is not the night to look for wildlife at the lake....
