See attached graph for A values over time.  Over the first 28 years of the GBS the Scarlet Robin is the 66th most abundant species with a long term average value of A of 0.04225.  In terms of frequency (F) it is the 50th most frequently recorded species with a long term average value of 27.28 (ie on average just over 1/4 of sites report the species at least per year).

Hi all

A group of 10 Yellow-faced Honeyeaters just passed through the tree tops in my GBS area, heading north. Maybe a little early? Are we in for a cold snap??

Also, a male Scarlet Robin in my yard on Friday afternoon. I imagine they would not be common on GBS charts (Martin?).

I'm four weeks into GBS recording at my new home in Hawker, averaging 31 species a week so far.

And I agree with Jack, the pardalotes can be difficult to count accurately when there is a tree full of them!

Cheers
Anthony
