did not think about Eastern
Reef Egret. But that it is mostly pale, rather than dark, grey and
that it does have the white on the chin and in particular the two tone grey on
the wing, with the primaries and secondaries (mostly hidden) being clearly
darker than the rest of the bird, is not fitting of grey morph of the Eastern Reef
Egret.

identified this as a juvenile White-faced Heron but my initial thought was a
grey morph of the Eastern Reef Egret. David
