This year, a return to the more traditional Xmas card. It must be sent out a little early because it is growing out of control due to the wet weather.

 

 Spice has been added to this typical view of a local wetland by the addition of a few of your less usual swamp species.  At the price of a few kbs it has been slightly enlarged so that anyone so inclined might do a bit of indoor  IDing.  Try for 30 species.  Actually there are a few more than 40 here, but some are only specks, just like in real bird-watching.  However this is certainly not a competition, which would not promote relaxation in this holiday period.  A festive, safe, non-competitive and lowish-cholesterol Xmas to all.
