Thanks to Robin for the note about the late Paul Igag.

 

My daughter and I watched the Birds of Paradise special, entranced, and a little heart broken on occasions when the last little bird was unrequited, despite his best efforts at upside-down dancing.

We both reckoned he had done enough to earn his reward.

ABC ought perhaps have added a post-scrip, even just a line across the screen. Something to have acknowledged his work and his recent demise.
