Several people have mentioned that there seem to be very few rufous
songlarks about in the Canberra area this year. Perhaps they are just a
bit late arriving. I heard my first yesterday, in the grassland
adjacent to the 3rd fairway at Magpies Belconnen Golf Course in Holt -
that is to say, behind the electric substation along Parkwood Road.
