my neighbour thought I'd be interested in a confrontation taking place in his back yard - a SC cockatoo with severely deformed beak, undergoing sustained attack by the local magpies, currawongs, noisy miners and peewees.  was it the deformed beak that had the locals upset? - crest was a bit ragged, but otherwise feathers seemed in good condition.  It was the sort of attack we normally see if a yellow-tailed black cockatoo or sparrowhawk stops by , but have never seen a white cocky causing an upset like this before, and they are daily visitors.
