Attached photo taken in a Curtin garden shows the
ingenuity of a Spotted Pardalote when it comes to nesting. Having located
the hole in the railway sleeper it has proceeded to excavate - dirt excavated
can be seen below the hole. The bird has been seen entering &
leaving. When disturbed it sits quietly in a nearby shrub.
