Just returned from a couple of very nice days at Lake Tabourie.  The three Hooded Plovers in the attached photo were the highlight.  Unfortunately, people were ignoring the no dogs sign so these three and the Red-Capped Plovers with two tiny young (see photo) were being chased by dogs on a regular basis.  Over the three days I did not spend a lot of time on the beach but even so I only saw one tern, a caspian.
