Today there was a Grey Butcherbird singing from the top of my neighbour's big oak tree. The Red Wattlebirds appeared distinctly unhappy about that. A bit later I watched a Peregrine Falcon circling over and travelling further away. I went inside to get binoculars before it got too far away to watch with certainty about ID. Fortunately when I stepped back outside, it changed direction and returned directly over and zoomed past right above me, maybe in pursuit of something out of my view. About a minute later a Little Eagle flew high over the house.
