For those travelling West or with an interest in 'local' wetlands, Peter Cowper and myself were fortunate to observe 7 Brolga at the Fivebough Swamp wetland today on the way home from a trip out West to see the 'Swollen Darling'. Re the Darling, is no more than 1-2 metres from top of river bank at Wilcannia, quite a sight :) Regards Stuart Harris

Yes,
I've stopped there a few times myself in the past,
to find it full of many types of honeyeaters, treecreepers, and other small
birds. It also has a good population of Squirrel Gliders and other arboreal
mammals.
Cheers,
Bruce
