Judging by what has gone on at our place today the colder night has persuaded the birds it is time to be elsewhere, While further up the block about 11:30 a flock of 38 flew over headng SE while about 1345 a flock of 24 flew over my GBS site. They were in a rather loose formation but I think the last ones entered the site before the leaders left it. Both these groups are relatively large for my site. A friend who lives at Urila (a good bit closer to Burra Rd than Muriels block0 reported that he didn't see any migrating honeyeaters through there last week despite worrking on the block every day.
