Thanks to those who responded to my inquiry re “bees” in the Wagga Gelatissimo confirming my suspicion they could well be European Wasps. I didn’t mention this to the manager of the Gelatissimo in case I might be spreading a false alarm, but will contact The Daily Advertiser – Wagga’s Newspaper, founded 1858. Could be a good story in this, and a bit of a service to the community.
