What about a juvenile Banded Honeyeater? The picture in
Simpson & Day looks good for that.

The enclosed photo was taken at Mary
River, NT. I initially listed it as a Singing Honeyeater but later thought
it was a Rufous-banded Honeyeater. But there are features in the photo
that do not fit either. Any views would be
appreciated.
