The imm Koel is still around in the Cobb Cres/Tyson St area. It is still begging and being fed by wattlebirds. It now has another call rather like the alarm call of the adults and is flying strongly (On January 3 it was more clumsy in its flight) The tail looks longer now with a definite notch (similar to photo of female by Staurt Harris on the COG site) and it has developed speckled markings on the shoulder of the wings.
