Thanks everyone who replied about the Musk Lorikeets. I heard them again this morning and managed to definitely see one, so was pleased that others have been seeing them too. The one Coral saw in Ainslie might be the same bird. I only saw one, but there was a least 2 birds from the calls. They didn't hang around long though. There are a few flowering Eucalypts out the back of our place in the Stirling Av reserve which butts up to Justice Robert Hope Park.

A Lorikeet the size and shape of a musk flew over my house in Ainslie this morning heading north and one heard twice yesterday. I am not used to hearing just one but I am sure it wasn't a Little

We have just had some possible Musk Lorikeets fly over. They flew fast over
the house and disappeared over Justice Hope Park. We didn't see them, only
heard them, so we are not sure. Having listen to a recording of their call
we think they are more likely than Littles. Has anyone else seen any in the
district?
