COG has just published the 2nd edition of The Birds of Canberra Gardens.  This is a very handsome glossy publication of over 100 pages, featuring the photographs of many COG members, as well as some useful information from the garden bird survey data.  Some of you will have bought your copy at the Christmas Party last Wednesday, but if you missed out then, it will be on sale at the January COG meeting. The member price is $20 if purchased direct from COG.  It is not yet available in bookshops (although should be fairly soon in at least some of them, but it will be more expensive in the bookshops).   If anyone is really keen to have copy(ies) for Christmas presents, email me at and I'll try to organise to get a copy to you in the next couple of weeks.

At the January meeting it will also be possible for members to purchase this new publication AND the bird call CD for a total price of $25. The CD is normally $12 on its own, so $25 is a great price for the two.  This offer ONLY available from the Sales Desk at the meeting.
