There are a couple of local spots where contiguous nesting by Leaden Flycatchers and friarbirds is again in evidence.  This is well known and is the subject of a lengthy passage in HANZAB.  One study noted that, of 68 LF nests, 35 were started within  26m of NF nests.  As it happens my estimate of the separation of the below 2 nests at Callum Brae was ‘about 25m’.
