If a Boobook can annoy someone (presumably by its calling) they are
over-sensitive. How would they react to a Barking Owl or Koel, or even a
Koala?

Encouraged by Con's reference to the Aranda boobook, I should mention
that a boobook is now an occasional visitor in Beacuhamp St Deakin. I
had not heard it for several years until last week. It has visited our
large E melliodora several times while calling.

I am pleased to note that it annoys my neighbour. His small dog annoys
me so I am grateful to the boobook for restoring the balance of karma
:-)
