Howdy All,

I've never noticed it with our local Magpies before, and not sure how common or uncommon it is, but our Magpies have 3 babies at present. They're all sitting in a row up high in the gumtree (they nested across the road, so they must be flying to some degree) and begging food from their parents. With 3 of them the parents are going to have a fun time of it I would imagine. In the 14 years I've been here I've only ever seen 1 or 2 chicks, never 3 of them. It must be a very good spring this year.

Cheers.
