Hi all,

Yesterday on Ginninderra Creek there were zillions of Bee-eaters,
or at least more than 32 which I am pretty sure I saw all at once.
Today despite an assiduous search I found but two.
Where were the missing birds hiding ?
Where they frightened by West Macgregor?
 Were they passage migrants ?

Answering my own questions: no-idea to the first,
hope not to the second but it, West Macgregor, hasn't been there in the past
and I don't think so to the third.
I expect to find them on the creek or nearby from now 'till February,
just have to look harder I guess.

Different topic : I have seen no sign of a Red-backed Kingfisher, though I have seen a Sacred.
