Greetings. An easy option to reduce the size of images before posting them to the CanberraBirds list, so as to keep each email below 100 kb in size, is to use the tiny program called 'Image Resizer PowerToy Clone for Windows'. This is like Microsoft's Image Resizer PowerToy http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx but it works with Vista as well as XP.

The resizer is available as a free download at http://sourceforge.net/projects/phototoysclone/ .Once the application is installed, simply right-click on the name of an image file in Windows Explorer and select 'Resize pictures'. Doing so obviates the need to launch a graphics application.

Cheers - David
