Hi John,
I've seen a Collared Sparrowhawk three times in the
last 10 days just around our house- French St. Hackett. The first time it
was in hot pursuit of I think a Crimson Rosella which looked to be as big if not
bigger than it. The other two times just circling overhead hunting.
Must have a nest nearby but I don't know a) where or b) how big a territory they
usually occupy so to what area I should limit my searching given Geoffrey's
earlier request for pairs?
