Hi bird experts -  we are considering a trip, maybe to the Griffith area in September -  does anyone have any advice as to whether/where we might be able to see budgies in the wild?  The "Murrumbidgee Field Naturalists – Bird Routes of Griffith"  site http://www.mfn.org.au/birdRoutesTextOnly.pdf suggests that budgies breed at Willbriggie Swamp -  would we be likely to be able to see budgies there?  Has anyone got any other suggestions as to promising sites/times of year?

Cheers
