Brown Gerygone seen near where the main path crosses the rainforest gully yesterday afternoon. Was calling only intermittently so quite difficult to pick up. I thought there may have been a second bird present but wasn’t able to confirm.

cheers

Indeed not a hoax.  Sandra Henderson and I saw it about 10:30, right up at the top bridge on the border between Sections 61 and 62.

I had clear views of Jenny's  Brown Gerygone in the ANBG this morning (Tuesday 21st July, 10am coffee break).

It was calling incessantly, and I eventually got clear and close views of the bird from the the north side of the rainforest gully, in Section 146B and then 147A.

PS - Martin this is not a hoax.
