Greetings:  Does anyone have any information or could point me to articles/references about seed failure of casuarina both in the local region and the coast/coastal ranges, particularly over the last 20 years?

I am working on a nomination of the Glossy Black-cockatoo for listing as a threatened species in ACT.  Its almost finalised, but I would like to look at any links between influxes of numbers of birds in ACT and seed failures on the east coast/coastal ranges.
cheers
Jenny
