Dear All,

found a pair of Painted Buttonquail in Umbagong park (Latham/Macgregor - next to Flory Drive) this morning at about 10.00 in the small patch of "woodland" just to the SW of the carpark off Florey Drive i..e between the carpark and the ventilation chimney. They were quite confiding and I watched them for about 3 minutes in total foraging under and around a wattle before they disappeared into some taller grass. I had a bit more of a look around for them after that but without any luck.

Regards

Pete Christian
