I have a pair of Bushnell H20 bins, which are a cheaper version than the Excursion model, and have had no troubles with the strap attachment (yet!! - one year so far). From Sue's description I think the H2O has a much simpler mechanism for doing this - just two slots under the barrels. A case of Keep It Simple Stupid?
