Some obs from the last week

Today 3 YT Black-Cockatoos flying over, not common here. Also this morning 3 Gangs-Gangs including a noisy, begging young one being fed by the female.

Last Thurday no less than 4 Wedge-tailed Eagles circling high overhead. Presumably a family group as two were decidedly paler and presumably young ones.

A couple of records of Welcome Swallows, the first here since Dec 2007.

A subadult Olive-backed Oriole at our bird baths last Tuesday.

Last Sunday the first White-plumed Honeyeater since June 2007.

cheers

Steve
