Drove by Kelly's Swamp midday and there is a slight return to normality (for how long who knows).
There was actually a shallow covering of water - enough to entice 5 White-faced Herons, 7 Black-fronted Plovers, 5+ Purple Swamphens on top of the usual 'scrub' birds that have ridden out the dry over the past month or so.
Then on leaving a Little Eagle (I think) was hovering, then soaring over the road and S/Ponds.
