Thanks to an alert from Ros Cornish (about 1km further up Whiskers Creek) I have just been able to get myself outside and see 6 White-throated Needletails fly over our house. I have no idea what they are doing in a cloudless sky with no wind other than a good job on the local insects. They are moving slowly Northwards so the Wamboin push could get some action in a wee while!
