In our park in Kambah (Severne Crescent) there has been a war each breeding season for the last 4 years between Kookaburras and mynas. They were fighting over a single breeding hollow. Year 1 mynas won, Year 2 and 3 Kookaburras won and successfully raised 5 young in the two years. Year 4 I couldn't see any bird using that particular hollow, have not seen the Kookas since.
