Debate about birdstrike

Given all the previous publicity and movies about training geese to fly away home, it is perfectly obvious that Al Qaeda has conscripted flocks of Canada Geese and formed a number of anseriform suicide squadrons, the first of which was unleashed in the environs of La Guardia.  Bush has more to answer for.  He claims, even in the face of this evidence, that he has kept the US safe.  What a goose!  What geese!!

Honk if you agree.  Honk off if you don’t.

Following yesteday's crash into the Hudson the New York Times  has hosted this article about birdstrike and planes.  It may be of interest to members of the list.

As usual, the comments range from the interesting to the insane.  My favourite - hopefully humorous, otherwise well into the insane wavelengths of the spectrum-  is  "I say capture some geese, waterboard them, find out who the chief geese are , and then invade Iraq."
