Mt Rogers: Painted Button-Quail

I was fortunate enough to be able to watch a male and a female Painted Button-Quail foraging in the vicinity of the Mt Roger's parking area this evening. Neither looked particularly colourful so were either young birds or non-breeding adults. This was my third attempt at finding them. Thanks are due to John Leonard for his original report.
